Well i want to know what the lastest vesion of linux is which is simple to WINDOWS XP and how do you install? Like a step to step guide. I cant really tell on these forums and stuff how to do it.
I want a linux which is like windows. Sorry if this answer has already been answered but i cant find it.

The computer was working just fine lastnight. But this morning when I tried to start it up it just came to the black loading screen, loaded all my other stuff, than said Operating System not found.

It is a Dell Inspirion with OS Vista installed.

Also, if you know why it is doing this could you by chance tell me how I can fix it.
