My friend told me that its more stable then Microsoft product, so I thought I would give it a try. Since I started using Linux, my computer doesn’t crash, freeze, or even slow down. It boots up 5 times faster, and shuts down faster. I would think Windows would be more stable since you pay for it and its made by Microsoft, which is one of the richest company’s in the world?

I have always used Microsoft and desire to learn Linux. I am a programmer by occupation, but everything is done via Windows.

I have downloaded and will probably try the new Microsoft Windows 7 BETA operating system. First I would like to know what current users think. Are there known issues?

I’m using a Mac, but I need to use my Windows PC to type and print something. However, my mouse does not work. Microsoft Word is on the desktop, but I do not know how to select it. Is there a way to open Microsoft word, type, then save the file and print all using the keyboard? Its a Windows 98, if the info is of any use.

I have been running Linux for two months and I like it much better then my Windows XP. My computer doesn’t freeze or crash anymore. I don’t have to worry to much about viruses or spyware on my computer. I would think that Microsoft Would be hurting in sales if linux was able to run all PC applications that windows run.

Okay, I would like to have linux and Windows Vista both running on one machine. I DON’T want to get rid of Windows Vista, so what do I do after I download linux. I would also like to do the same with XP too.

And please NO bad mouthing about windows or windows vista. I happen to like Microsoft and Windows Vista and I DON’T want to get rid of it.

How much business will you lose for having linux instead of Microsoft. Does in the Philippines use linux for their cafe? How many people are getting caught for pirated software and what is the fine? Thanks.
