i have windows installed on my mac already and to switch i have to go into either one and locate the settings and switch… when i was in school today i turned on one of the macs they have in the computer lab and when i turned it on i had an option as to which one i wanted to run. windows or mac… i want to know how i can get this on my mac book.

I’m just curious. I use Mac OSX (leopard) and I think it would be nice to have a portable Linux OS that will carry all of my files and settings so I could have those where ever I am (and of course so I could avoid using Windows). I was just wondering if there is any way of doing this. Size isn’t much of an issue since I’m planning to get a new flashdrive for it anyway.

I want to get a mac but the mac mini is all i can afford. Are normal macs that much better?
