I recently moved out of state and need to switch my drivers license. According to the state DMV a current, valid license is needed or a copy of my driving record. Well, I just happened to notice that my license expired the beginning of January. I’m in a bit of panic since I have to take time off from work to go to the DMV and I don’t want to waste my time if they’re just going to turn me away. Oh, they also said that I don’t have to take a test as long as the license hasn’t been expired for over a year. So can anyone give me their opinion on what I should expect?

I want to know details about Drivers Ed. What is the schedule like? 5 days a week? How many hours a day? And how long does it take to complete it in total to receive both a learners permit and a drivers license? They teach you how to drive in one of there cars?
I just want approximate prices and I live in NYC.

My wife is small in stature and needs to sit on a pillow to be able to see out the window. She hasn’t earned her drivers license yet and will need to take the driving test. Will she be allowed to take the test sitting on her booster pillow?

I should have mentioned this in my last question but do you need a drivers license to join the military? My friend still has a learners permit. I’ve met some people in the national guard who did not have drivers licenses but he is planning on joining the active army. Do you need a drviers license to enlist?

I am a student in Ohio and have a valid Canadian drivers license. I need to get an Ohio license for my insurance in Ohio. Can I just take the written test? It doesn’t make sense for me to have to prove my driving skills on a road test when I have a valid drivers license. I know people from other states only have to take a written test. How can I do the same?

There is a great deal of liability as a bartender. For certain infractions you could loose your drivers license for thirty days.Does this mean you can not work as a bartender without a drivers license. If not what would the punishment or fine be?
