I recently moved to Virginia from Michigan and I completed drivers education, segment one, there. However I never picked up the physical permit, believing it would not be valid here anyway. So now I have no clue how to get my license. I will be sixteen in February and have completed the Michigan drivers ed which includes driving with an instructor and a written class… I have all the paperwork and everything. What next?

I want to know details about Drivers Ed. What is the schedule like? 5 days a week? How many hours a day? And how long does it take to complete it in total to receive both a learners permit and a drivers license? They teach you how to drive in one of there cars?
I just want approximate prices and I live in NYC.
