As data packets are moved from one network hardware device to another over a network, hardware address (MAC adresses) come into play? So how a hardware device disovers the MAC addrss of another in the event that it is unknown.

i have windows installed on my mac already and to switch i have to go into either one and locate the settings and switch… when i was in school today i turned on one of the macs they have in the computer lab and when i turned it on i had an option as to which one i wanted to run. windows or mac… i want to know how i can get this on my mac book.

I just recently bought a zune to accompany my laptop, however due to unusual circumstances, I am not currently in possesion of that computer anymore. However, I do have a mac laptop now. Unfortuantly I can not use my zune w/ the mac. I am currently at my friends house and can use her computer to update my zune. I have the software downloaded, and the zune is connected. Is there any way to transfer the music from the mac to the pc, w/o using the internet (takes waaaaaayyyyy toooo loooonnnnngggg!!). I think we have wires and stuff, but im not sure if that would help.

Sony has just updated the Playstation 3 with firmware update 1.8. This update allows you to stream music, videos, and pictures via the DLNA. I have no clue how to get the Playstation 3 to read music on my Mac. Do I need to download something? I really want to get my Mac to stream media to the Playstation 3.

My friend said that she got it off the internet but i couldn’t find it.
She had windows vista running on her laptop yet she had a mac- like toolbar at the bottom and the top looked exactly like a mac yet the computer was running windows.

It had the mac toolbar, the top bar looked like a mac, and the windows explorer was in the middle.

I need to get my powerpoint to a pc. I tried using my flash drive but it wouldn’t display my powerpoint on the pc. I have a Mac osx 4.91 or something, and the pc is fairly new so if anybody knows how to get it onto the pc pelase let me know!
